The STIHL SH 56 Petrol Shredder/Vac is the perfect tool for occasional and domestic users. A 2-in-1 tool, it has the functionality to be a shredder/vac as well as a handy handheld petrol leaf blower. It is fitted with a specialised replaceable shredder blade on the fan wheel which helps to minimise garden waste. The SH 56 Petrol Shredder is fitted with a semi-automatic choke and stop switch for smooth starts, this blower automatically resets to the starting position to help prevent accidental flooding. A handy 3m gutter extension is also available to clean those hard-to-reach gutters.

Reduced emission engine technology
A 2-stroke engine with stratified charge. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This gives the tools more power, lower weight and up to 20% lower fuel consumption than a regular 2-stroke engine. It will also significantly reduce exhaust emissions.
Manual fuel pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel straight to the carburettor at the push of a button. This will significantly reduce the number of strokes required to start the tool following extended breaks in operation.

STIHL Elasto Start
STIHL Elasto Start technology reduces the shock caused by the compression of the engine during starting. The compression shock is taken away from the user?s joints and muscles through a spring or rubber element in the starter handle.
