STIHL HLA 56 Long Reach Hedge Trimmer – AK System

The STIHL HLA 56 is a fantastic lightweight cordless long-reach hedge trimmer perfect for cutting taller hedges and shrubs in your garden. The HLA 56 features double-sided blades in a droplet shape to help guide hedge materials towards the cutters. The adjustable head is perfect for cutting at angles ranging from -45deg to +90deg. The shaft is also detachable, which makes transporting the tool a breeze. The carrying length is 115cm.

The STIHL HLA 56 is part of the COMPACT Cordless System of tools which includes a blower, hedge trimmer, chainsaws and lawnmowers and uses interchangeable batteries which can be swapped and used across the entire range.

Run time on AK 30 battery: Up to 120 minutes

High cutting performance

The cutting teeth are droplet-shaped with a large tooth spacing and integrated cut protection to ensure high performance for a longer period of time

Simple operation

The HLA 56 features a locking lever (orange front), ERGO lever (black) and the main trigger lever (orange below). The locking lever is self-resetting and prevents any unintentional switch-on of the device. When the ERGO lever and the shift lever is pressed, you can continue with ease.

Simple head angle adjustment

The HLA 56 has a large angle adjustment button, press this and the blade angle can be easily adjusted quickly and without tools from -45? to + 90? for cutting the top of the hedge and sides.

Split shaft

The shaft on the HLA 56 is easily separable thanks to the clamp with toggle screw. The tool can, therefore, be easily transported and stored.

Loop handle

The HLA 56 features a comfortable all-round loop handle which ensures great freedom of movement and easy handling, even in more confined spaces.

Tip protection

The tip protector allows you to cut closer to the ground or along walls without having to worry about scraping the tip. It protects the blade from any kind of damage.

Wall-mounted storage bracket

Thanks to the wall-mounted storage bracket, each of the individual shaft components can be easily stored off of the ground helping to save space un the shed or garage.
